I have only a few hours in each BF3 and BF4.
But early impressions are that BF4 is a bit more "like" BF2.
Bigger squads and in game VOIP certainly help.
If you are considering BF3 or BF4, my vote is for BF4.
The hardware requirements aren't that much more than BF3.

Ill be buying BF4 in the next day or so.

oh, awesome! i think you'll like it.
my 650ti does about 30-40 FPS on Ultra Textures, all else HIGH.
I lowered the first half of settings to MEDIUM and hold 60-70 FPS.
for reference, my system:

Is bf4 an online multi player like bf2? (to lazy to look)
-
lol, yes shizle. the successor's to BF2...
BF3 seems more like a Call of Duty paced run and gun. (which i actually like).
4 man squads, no VOIP, no Commander. Fairly easy to kill and be killed.
but doesn't "feel" like a Battlefield game as much. Very intense graphics and audio compared to BF2.
BF4 has a little slower pace, more like BF2, larger squads, in game VOIP and commander, and harder to kill and be killed.
Graphics and audio are also very intense, but what do you expect going from a 2005 game to 2013 game?
Very big difference. Still very different than BF2, but it somehow "feels" more like a Battlefield game.
Both have a long curve to unlocks, much like BF2 did.
Both allow you to purchase unlocks at any time through Origin.
If your PC can run either, I think BF4 would appeal more to BF2 lovers, but you really gotta try it and keep at it for a bit to know for sure.

I'll give it a try. Let the bootlegging begin :guy:

I would get BF4 it does look pretty fun but can't afford to buy the game or upgrade the machine I play on lol sucks to see that BF2 is basically dead now but it was fun as hell! I'll just stick to war thunder and BF3 for now until I can get a better pc
-
Tank, if you can play BF3 on your machine, I would think you should be able to play 4. The specs are almost the same. They say the minimum processor needed is a 2.4, and I only have a 2.1 but can play BF 3 on low settings. I only have 4 Gigs of DDR2 ram, but my video card is a 260 GTX, which might be making up for my processor which is a little under spec. I'm going to take a chance on buying BF4 and hope it runs OK and I like it more than 3, because long term BF3 for me just isn't an option. :smileypuke:
