In case anyone is interested, here is the reply from the ticket I issued last night.

I do apologise for the delay, as well as the inconvenience that this is causing,
Unfortunately upon checking, the location that both your Battlefield 2 Ranked and Ventrilo servers are hosted in were again affected by a large DDoS attack.
The disruption that resulted appears to have lasted a couple of hours as of your last reply.
At this current time, it has since ceased again.
There have been no further disruptions reported.
Due to this, give your server another run through to see whether it is any better at this point.

That sucks man.
It started happening just as Hitman got in my chopper. I swear to god, every time we end up in a helicopter together I start lagging or something and can't hit anything then Hitman gets pissed because he thinks I'm missing on purpose lmao.

I do apologise for the inconvenience that this has again caused,
Unfortunately, there were further disruptions experienced in this location. They were the result of further DDoS attacks.
They've again subsided at this point.
Due to the nature of this, the only possibility we could suggest if this continues would be for a temporary test server to be setup in an alternative location to see whether it's any better.
It'd remain online for 5-days.
Upon checking, the times of the disruption are quite close to the previous occurrences the night before.
However, since they've yet again ceased, we can only really recommend giving the server another run through tonight to see whether there's a repeat occurrence.
The temporary test server option remains open if you opt to give that a try, if so, indicate where you'd like it to be setup.

Network difficulties are currently being experienced in the Dallas, Texas location. End users may experience elevated latency levels and/or an inability to connect to services. We are working on an effort to correct the issue. We will provide additional updates here once they become available.
