IF you get the block spots nvidia bug, then rename bf2.exe to bf2old, and copy BF2RG.exe to BF2.exe and play.
The black spotting is a driver bug in nvidia cards, which oddly is caused by the game exe being mis-named

OK, at first it did not work for me, but then i found a critical missing step, and it does work, black spots gone!
Basically, it goes...
in your BF2 folder, where all the executables are:
rename "BF2.exe" to something like "orig_BF2.exe" ( this just keeps it around should you need or want it later)
copy "BF2RG.exe", it will be named "copy" in the name by windows.
rename that new copy to "BF2.exe"
the critical part, use this BF2.exe to launch the game, not any other icon, THIS ONE.
I launch the new launcher "Battlelog.co Launcher" once it shows I am logged in, then I double click the BF2.exe to launch the game, NOT the "LAUNCH BATTLEFIELD 2 NOW" button.
