i've finally figured it out  8)

so i could login / join the server left and right just fine, change options and press *Enter to accept, but when ingame chosing a flag and pressed *Enter to spawn, nothing happened. bf2hub, battlelog, whatever. my *Enter was numb. it worked in login, worked in options, but not when i wanted to spawn.

10 hours later, i figured out i left ventrillo in the mic test mode. aha!
well, nope.

25 hours on, i figured out battlelog changed providers and peerblock is blocking my connection. aha!
nope again. (god knows what nefarious IP i've added to exceptions)



100 hours later i found out it was my jewstick i'd put behind  my screen when i last played a week ago, and one of the buttons was constantly pressed by the wall.

i didn't even get angry, i was just disappointed and curious. hrehreh. i guess i'll see you tomorrow. lol.
