POLL (Closed) : Infantry Only review and potential expansion

Hello all,

This poll and discussion is to review the IO schedule.  Currently we have IO on Tuesdays, which has had a good showing over the past several weeks.

My person thinking would be to run Saturdays in a mixed-mode of IO and Vehicles, potentially switching every 4 (6, or hours, or as admins and server population demand.  We had some good moments this past Sat - but also extended dead periods (while other servers were cooking).  Admittedly a mixed-mode day may confuse some players, but I still believe it's worth trying (maybe increasing in-game notices and gently warning confused players), and an opportunity for the server to adapt and expand to community interests.

The poll will run for 2 weeks (until Sun, Sept 15).  Users can select up to 3 choices.

when we did our test run for IO it was on a Sat. with no notice and we did pretty well. i think sat would be good we can always change.

Do we have sufficient community support/critical mass to pull the trigger on this and already -- or shall we wait out the poll until the 15th?

Could we start this Saturday (2013-sep-07) as IO, as the majority support that day?
Do we commit the entire day, or switch off with vehicles (every 4 or 8 hours, or as server pop changes)?

It's saturday noon and 4+ tits players are on other IO servers while the tits (veh.) server sits empty and idle...

Anxious to make tits IO saturdays happen asap.

On the flip side, we had a full server for a bit around midnight eastern....  ???

I prefer vehicles generally speaking, but if you want to add a day with infy only why not add it on spec ops day ? Spec ops with I/O is very good because you are more often using spec ops stuff as grappeling etc...
