NEW BATTLELOG/REVIVE LAUNCHER RELEASED - INCLUDES A NEW MAP

They have released the new patch for clients as well as server files.

There are new and different steps involved but it is easy. (also easy to fuck up).
No need to uninstall the old revive launcher, it may actually help to leave it be.
If you have already used the older version, this should be a snap.
Similar to the way the BF2Hub used to work, you will now have an option to select available profiles and then "Save to Cloud"
It seems the "Create Profile" button does just that - makes a brand new account with no stats, etc. You probably want to avoid this.


Supposedly, this also reinstates unlocks as well when playing on a patched server.
I have sent a request to our host to allow me access to upload the new files.
In the meantime,  I recommend you all try to get revives launcher working on your PC, so you can play the new map when we get the server patched.

A common issue is installed to wrong folder, this is very important!
Also, click carefully and avoid the create profile button, hitman has learned it may wipe out your profile!


Edit: Server is jacked beyond belief, we have a secondary one that needs to be setup.
I will consume many beers and work on that tonight, Aug 13.

I uninstalled BF2 and everything. Then re installed BF2, Punkbuster, etc.. Then went to BF2hub.com and ReviveBF2.com (same website) and re installed the old launcher and it doesn't work lol It gives me a fucked up error that was custom written by one of their developers that wrote the code.

Jeff, I had the same errors with the new launcher a couple of times, but after few retries it kicks in.

I anticipate having our server patched on saturday, and myself and others have had no issues with the newest revive patch. The new map and unlocks should be avail soon just as they are for weekend warriors and the others.

lol, now i can log in to revive in the first try, but there are no servers... the list is empty. waat?

Server has been changed to UNRANKED and has the new executable. Unlocks are now available, the new map is not loaded, yet
